Where Expertise Meets Impact –
Welcome to the Reviewer Registry

Reviewer Registry is a collection of Subject Matter Experts (SME) whose expertise support a wide range of government related fields. These experts play a critical role in the grant funding process by providing expert evaluation and feedback on grant applications, ensuring that funds are allocated to the most promising and impactful projects.

The "Grant or Peer Review" is the objective process used by funding organizations to assess the efficacy and potential benefit of the services, programs or initiatives being proposed by applicants. Grant reviews are a critical component of the funding process and are designed to choose the best programs for funding out of a competitive group.

Types of Grant Reviews

Reviewer Registry provides support to a variety of grant review models used by our clients:

  • Remote Grant Review – All reviews are conducted online, with participants needing internet access. Training and discussions occur via web platforms or teleconferences.
  • Onsite Grant Review – SMEs meet in person to review and evaluate grant applications.
  • Hybrid Grant Review – A two-stage process: initial scoring is done independently, followed by in-person panel review for final evaluation.

Grant Reviewer Role

Reviewers are professionals and subject matter experts selected for their expertise to evaluate grant applications based on criteria outlined in a FOA or NOFA. They must thoroughly review applications, contribute to discussions, and provide accurate evaluations.

Reviewers typically commit 1–2 weeks, confirm eligibility, and disclose any conflicts of interest. Non-agency participants may receive an honorarium, as determined by the funding entity.
